Independent developer / selected work

I build things you can play, use & test.

I’m Ilia. I make games, desktop software and useful digital projects, taking ideas from a brief to something real people can try.

Selected work / evidence first

Made to be seen working.

Each project is shown at its current stage, with the working parts and the limits in plain view.

Tactical FPS / early playtest

mAusee.

A tactical FPS project that made it out of the editor and into a downloadable playtest.

The challenge

Turn an ambitious game idea into a build other people can install and judge for themselves.

What works

Offline practice with four bot difficulties, four maps, and private host-run Competitive, Wingman and Casual matches. Cosmetic finishes save locally.

My part

I led the concept, iteration, testing and release. ChatGPT assisted with code and text.

Current status

Early Windows development playtest. No public servers or matchmaking; art, balance and performance are still being improved. Licensed third-party assets are credited in the download.

Music workstation / development preview

Mauros Studio.

A Windows music production workspace for building patterns, arranging clips and mixing a track.

The 0.3 development preview, shown as a full workstation.

The challenge

Make several music workflows feel like one coherent desktop application.

What works

Pattern sequencing, piano roll, playlist, mixer, built-in instruments and effects, project save and recovery, and WAV export.

My part

I set the feature brief, directed iterations and tested the preview. ChatGPT helped with implementation.

Current status

Development preview. Native plugin hosting, broad hardware testing and commercial release work are still ahead.

Interpreter / browser playground

Ember.

A small interpreted language paired with a browser playground, so editing code can immediately change a playable Snake game.

My part
I led the concept and iterations. ChatGPT helped build the interpreter and playground; I reviewed and tested the local demo.
Working now
A local Rust interpreter runs editable Ember code through the browser host; the Windows package includes the playable example.
Status
Local prototype. The playground is not a public web service.

04–05 / Commissioned work

Useful work for real briefs.

Private residential brief / paid project

A home, mapped out.

For a family apartment brief, I delivered a furnishing concept, practical shopping guide and a website that brings the proposal together.

My part I led the concept, shopping guide and website, with ChatGPT assistance.

Status Delivered client project; visual shown as a concept, not a finished interior.

Product catalog / paid project

A catalog with a job to do.

I made a PDF catalog for a small lash business, organizing product information into a document the client could share.

My part I created the layout and delivered the PDF, with ChatGPT assistance.

Status Delivered client project. Sample pages and client identity are kept private here.

How I work

AI helps me move faster. The work still has to work.

I handle most of each project from idea to delivery. ChatGPT helps me plan, code, prototype and iterate. I review its output in the actual project, test key paths and revise what fails. I don’t claim to have hand-written every line.

  1. 01 Define the job and what “working” means.
  2. 02 Build and iterate with AI tools.
  3. 03 Review the result, test it and name its limits.

A little about me

Curious enough to start. Careful enough to check.

I’m Ilia, an indie developer interested in the point where a rough idea becomes something someone can actually use. I like making the interface clear, seeing what breaks in testing and improving the next version.

Working with now

  • HTML & CSS
  • Web layout and interface work
  • AI-assisted planning, prototyping and iteration

Learning next

  • Python
  • Java
  • CS50 is on my learning plan
